01 · Operating Philosophy

How I
think & work.

Four principles that shape how I approach every problem, team, and organisation I work with.

01
Simplify before you automate
AI without workflow change is theatre. Most organisations do not have an AI problem; they have a process problem with an AI layer on top.
02
Ownership drives performance
Dashboards do not create control. Ownership does. Metrics move when one person owns the outcome, understands the root cause, and drives the next decision.
03
High performance is designed
High-performing teams are built through clarity, standards, feedback, and accountability - not individual heroics.
04
Build systems that scale
Speed matters, but only if the system survives growth. Design systems, workflows, and governance that perform today and scale with tomorrow's business.

02 · Case Studies

Proof,
not promises.

Three different contexts. Three different types of problem. Same pattern: find the constraint, build the system, deliver measurable results at scale.

Automated data flow
Service Delivery Managers (SDMs) were spending each reporting cycle pulling data from multiple systems, formatting spreadsheets, assembling slide decks, and writing client summaries by hand. The process was slow, inconsistent, error-prone, and fundamentally unscalable across a global client base.
I designed and built the SDM Reporting Tool: a browser-based dashboard that automated the full reporting workflow end to end. The platform connected directly to Salesforce, pulled live Cases, Changes, and Defects data for each client, generated visual analytics, supported natural-language Q&A inside the dashboard, and exported branded PowerPoint decks with embedded AI insights and analytics automatically.
I integrated Anthropic Claude in two places: first, to generate executive-summary narrative grounded in the live KPI dataset at export time; second, to let SDMs ask natural-language questions about client data and contribute context before producing the final report. This made AI useful inside the workflow itself rather than bolted on as a demo feature.
The tool went from concept to production in weeks and is now live across >300 clients in 28 countries. Reporting moved from fragmented manual assembly to a standardised, repeatable, fully automated workflow that scales globally without manual uploads.

Revolut needed a dedicated FinCrime Customer Support function built from the ground up. I designed the operating model, team structure, KPIs, workflows, roadmap, and tooling before leading the function once live. The challenge was to build an operation capable of supporting millions of customers while improving customer experience, meeting regulatory requirements, and launching a new phone support channel - all under live backlog pressure and during a period of rapid growth.
Standardised workflows supporting approximately 1,200 customer support agents Built a performance framework with clear ownership, KPIs, and root-cause analysis from agent to leadership level Replaced static capacity planning with a dynamic forecasting model based on demand, concurrency, and handling time Implemented AI-powered chatbots and agent co-pilots to improve self-service, consistency, and operational efficiency
Increased Net Promoter Score (NPS) from 5% to 17%+ Reduced average case resolution time by 5× Improved customer response time by 12× Increased AI chatbot retention from 0% to 30% Improved operational efficiency by 50%+ Maintained QC standards above 90% Rated Exceeding in first full performance cycle; nominated for promotion

STN8 was the largest and most complex robotic sort centre in Europe, processing more than 2.5 million shipments every week. Despite its scale, the site was underperforming because functions operated in silos, ownership was fragmented, and execution lacked a consistent operating rhythm. I brought the leadership team together behind a shared strategy, clear accountability, and a single set of priorities with measurable outcomes.
Led strategic planning workshops and aligned Operations, Engineering, Safety, Quality, HR, and Learning behind a shared operating strategy and common priorities Assigned clear ownership for every critical performance metric, backed by structured reviews and accountability Sequenced improvement across safety, productivity, quality, sustainability, and people development Built leadership capability through internal promotions, lateral moves, step-up opportunities, and succession planning Introduced a bottom-up innovation framework that improved Sort TPH and influenced wider network practice
Took the site from 19th in Europe (second from bottom) to 1st, then 1st worldwide for the first time in its history Increased average throughput from 67 to 75 TPH, with a peak of 79.1 Improved delivery estimate accuracy and cut customer concessions by >30% Reduced wasted trucks from 9% to below 2% Increased waste diversion from 88% to 93.2% Processed an EU record 672k shipments in 24hrs Improved internal promotion success rate from under 30% to 89% Leadership satisfaction index 100% for the first time since site launched in 2019

03 · Built Products

I build things
myself.

Most people who lead teams stop building. I didn't. The fastest way to understand a problem deeply enough to solve it at scale is to build something - and shipping real things keeps that instinct sharp. Here are a few of mine (and growing).

The problem

FinCrime escalations were piling up at ~450 tickets a week, with 240 SLA breaches and cases stuck for 10+ days. Outages, stuck flows, and edge cases drove repeat chases, while fragmented ownership made reliable governance impossible.

What I built

Built a unified async workflow inside Revolut's proprietary platforms Workflows and Dante - a routed, Slack-integrated workflow that standardised triage, enforced ownership, and cut SLA breaches while reducing case resolution time.

A web-based safety reporting platform first deployed at STN8 and rolled out across the UK sortation network. It made it simple for associates to raise submissions, for managers to track and close actions, and for site leaders to monitor trends in real time.

Why it mattered
Turned safety reporting into an operational workflow that drove faster follow-up, broader engagement, and measurable site-level improvement Network-level recognition and UK-wide adoption - STN8 won the Safety Award in 3 of 4 quarters in 2024 and the annual EU Safety Prize

An operations tool built on linear optimisation models, first deployed at SXW2 and rolled out across the UK sortation network to optimise belt layouts, balance zone volumes, and reduce reinjection - giving planners and supervisors an intuitive interface for rapid scenario testing and layout changes.

What it achieved
Converted complex operational analysis into decision-ready actions, enabling dynamic interventions that materially improved throughput and cut operating cost Adopted across manual sortation country-wide - a primary contributor to SXW2 winning the 2023 UK Productivity Award

The approach

Outside formal roles, I regularly prototype and ship internal tools, workflow automations, and self-hosted projects to test ideas in production rather than admire them in theory. My bias is to build the smallest thing that proves the point fastest.

06 · Beyond the work

The person
behind the CV.

Work is important. So is everything else. Here's what keeps me grounded, curious, and human.

I grew up between London and Doha and have lived and worked across four countries. That range of environments taught me to adapt fast, lead across cultures, and remain calm in ambiguity.

Outside work, I stay grounded through family, football, horse-riding, scuba, and travel. I've explored 21 countries so far across five continents. I also build with AI in my own time, running side projects from a home server because the fastest way to understand a technology is to ship with it.

I've always been drawn to systems. Engineering taught me how to design them. Consulting taught me how to analyse them. Operations taught me how to run them. Today I focus on helping organisations scale through better systems, better decisions, and better execution.

Family first

Padel
Another outlet for my competitive side. C+ ranked, and if there's a court and three other players, I'm in.
Travel
21 countries and counting. Lived in four. Every new place is a lesson in perspective.
Horse-riding
Upper-Intermediate level at Medhal Equestrian Centre, Riyadh.
Scuba diving
PADI Open Water certified. Regularly diving on trips back to Doha - Deep Blue Diving Centre is a second home.

Bring me the
messy problem.

I am most useful when operations are scaling, ownership is blurry, service quality is under pressure, or AI is being talked about more than it is delivering.

That's the kind of problem I work best on.

Ambiguity resolving into a system A tangle of connected nodes reorganises into an ordered left-to-right flow. The node with the most incoming connections is highlighted as the constraint before the system settles.
